*Post Event Venue Cleaning does not cover the cleaning of Kitchen and any Kitchen/Catering Equipment. This is the responsibility of the hirer and caterer.

Standard Package

The Standard Package is designed for hirers who are organising their own event and simply need a well-equipped, reliable space to make it happen. If you have your own team, your own suppliers, and your own programme sorted, this package gives you everything you need to get on with it.

Te Whare Maui's Main Hall is a genuinely impressive space. At full capacity it holds up to 300 guests, and with the Standard Package you have access to the PA sound system, stage lighting, a wireless microphone, a projector and screen, high-speed WiFi, 250 cushioned chairs, tables, heating and cooling, and an on-site staff member available for support. Everything is set up and ready for you to take the reins.

The Standard Package works best for self-organised events that do not require extensive AV production, multiple microphones, or advanced sound mixing. If you know what you are doing and you just need a great space to do it in, this is your package.

The Premium Package is for self-organised hirers who want the complete Main Hall experience and need the best technical setup the venue has to offer. With ten hours of access including a two-hour early start, advanced AV capability, and additional staff support, it gives experienced organisers and their teams everything they need to run a high-quality event on their own terms.

At the heart of the Premium Package is the Midas M32r digital mixing console, one of the most capable live sound systems available at any venue in Hamilton. Combined with all four wireless microphones, all three projectors with independent screen control, full lighting capability, and a dedicated soundbooth technician for setup and packdown, the Premium Package puts serious technical capability in the hands of your team.

The two-hour early access gives you time to soundcheck, rehearse, and prepare before guests arrive. The Dining Room is included as a dedicated space for catering, dining, or pre-function drinks. An additional on-site staff member is available throughout to support your team as needed.

Every room, every space, every square metre of the venue is available to you and your guests for the full duration of your hire.

The Main Hall anchors your event with premium sound, lighting, and full AV capability for up to 300 guests. The Dining Room provides a dedicated space for catering and dining. Rimu and Matai offer professional breakout, boardroom, and training spaces for events running multiple concurrent streams. Kauri provides a private VIP or speaker preparation room. The Outdoor Grounds extend your event outdoors for garden receptions, breakout sessions, or fresh air between programme items. The Catering Prep Area supports whatever catering arrangements you have in place.
