Cultural Services

As a venue operated by Te Kōhao Health, we are proud to offer genuine, heartfelt Māori cultural experiences for your guests. Our in-house cultural team and Kapa Haka performers bring warmth and mana to any occasion. Cultural services are priced with care for the context of your event.

Staffing & Operational

  • Need an extra set of hands? Additional staff are available to assist with basic event logistics, including guest check-in, ushering, serving, and setup and pack-down.

    Starting at $35/hr, minimum 2-hour hire. Subject to event details.

  • Leave the setup to us. Our team will prepare the event centre equipment ready for your event. Subject to event requirements, enquire for more details.

  • No need to pack everything out on the night. Store your items at the venue overnight at a rate based on size and amount of equipment.

  • Give your guests more to enjoy by bringing vendors on-site to sell products at your event.

Our staffing and operational services are designed to give you flexibility and peace of mind on your event day. Good food brings people together, and at Te Whare Maui we want to make sure your guests are well looked after. Whether you are working with one of our preferred caterers, self-catering, or simply need supplies and equipment to keep your event running, our catering options are designed to support whatever you have planned. Our Catering Prep Area provides a dedicated space for food preparation and staging, and our catering supplies ensure you have everything you need on the day.

  • Everything you need to feed a crowd. Catering supplies for up to 200 guests, including serving and prep equipment, display dishes, and more.

  • Give your guests a warm welcome throughout your event with self-serve hot beverage stations. Multiple stations available for hire. Each station includes:

    • Tea, coffee, and hot chocolate

    • Mugs, teaspoons, and stirrers

    • Hot water urn

    • Milk, sugar, and napkins

Te Whare Maui is equipped with professional-grade audio and visual technology to support events of any scale. From additional microphones and projectors to live streaming and dedicated soundbooth support, our AV and technical options give you the flexibility to tailor your setup to exactly what your event requires.

    Leave the pack-down to us. Two staff members will stack chairs, fold tables, return AV equipment, and reset the venue so you can focus on wrapping up your event.
